Say what you want about Skrillex, but OWSLA is one of the most innovative record labels at the forefront of electronic dance music. A couple of days ago they released the highly anticipated Higher EP by Destructo. This nostalgic techno/electro house infused EP brings big names across the board with remixes from Brodinski and Tommy Trash. Destructo brings back the old school with the new school in his new releases, “Higher” and “2112″. This EP will appeal to a very diverse audience within the electronic music scene.
Have had a lot of tracks saved up and rather than post them individually we thought we would make another weekend playlist since we haven’t done one in a while. Lots of different styles/genres here, but they all get the job done. ENJOY:
Here’s Tommy Trash‘s progressive version of “Sunrise (Won’t Get Lost),” his collaboration with fellow Australian house group The Ashton Shuffle. This track is out on Axwell‘s Axtone Records, and is sure to be another hit track just like his recent track with Sebastian Ingrosso, “Reload”.

Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia has had a huge week, having sold out all of his “One Last Tour” shows, with most of them in under an hour. On top of this, he has a brand new release with Tommy Trash that has had its fair share of previews and rips leading up to this final version. This version is definitely my favorite and includes the same repetitive melody that’ll be stuck in your head for days. Some have argued the track doesn’t stray away from it’s melody and it isn’t as big as some of Tommy Trash’s past material, but I’d say the production value definitely makes up for all of this. Give it a listen below and be sure to purchase it from Beatport:
