My favorite electro house/dubstep producer(s) right now would have to be Knife Party. I really can’t name any song I truly dislike by them. Today they lay a huge remix of “Last Time“, which is a new track by Labrinth on their upcoming album. Another remixer for this song is another favorite of mine, Gareth Emery. I can honestly say I hate his remix so I won’t post it. Knife Party’s remix is very good though, so definitely give it a listen.

New Avicii, Tommy Trash, Nervo & R3hab

I’m back in Dallas for the first time in like 5 months after the two day drive from Charlotte to Texas. I’ve got all sorts of progressive and trance goodies built up, so this post is going to be big. Avicii has a new track with Taio Cruz that has leaked out that I’m guessing will get some solid radio play. I’m reaally excited to see him on the 20th on his House for Hunger tour. Tim has been a long time supporter of Nervo, who have just come out with a great new track “You’re Gonna Love Again” with either Liv or Mim on vocals. Tommy Trash has released a new single and a remix of Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party‘s “Antidote” that all have his signature trashy progressive style. Finally, R3hab has just come out with an epic remix for Porcelain Black’s “Naughty” that you should definitely check out.

Back To School Dub

During tours artists tend to play VIP versions of their songs, which are basically edits of their original songs and are mostly saved for live shows. While I’m still waiting for the VIP version of “Internet Friends,” I came across a VIP version of Knife Party’s “Crush On You.” Check it out below:

I just finally finished all of my exams so I’m finally dancing and can not wait to get the weekend started in about 5 minutes. I’m so pumped to be done with school and I’ve got four huge tracks that help bring my excitement to even higher levels. The first song by Steve Aoki is a banger with some great original vocals by Kid CuDi that lead to a high energy drop. My favorite song of the group has to be “Jump,” check it out fa sho especially if you’re trying to party like me tonight. Enjoy

Knife Party – 100% No Modern Talking EP

Knife Party’s first EP, 100% No Modern Talking, has come out a little earlier than we expected. But I’m not complaining one bit because I’ve been waiting for this release for a good while. We’ve already shown you all of these tracks, but these are the actual studio versions, which means no “BBC Radio 1, in the mix” or live recording quality. And here’s some p’s for your q’s, Modern Talk is a waveform setting in MASSIVE (a synth used for bass), which Skrillex uses in a lot of his Dubstep songs. With Skrillex’s rising popularity other producers are using this same technique for their songs, except Knife Party, hence the EP title:
