Chuckie – Who Is Ready To Jump (Incl. Remixes) [Release]

The one comment I have for the original track, why so short? I’m pretty sure, like most people who are into the same music as I, that the first time you heard Chuckie’s track, “Who Is Ready To Jump“, you literally started jumping up and down jamming out hard. Well you’re all in for round two with these remixes. All five of the official remixes kills it in it’s own way. Dada Life as expected put their signature style of high energy electro that they always seem to bring to the table. Of the three unknowns my favorites would be the Ryan Riback and Albert Neve remixes, so I left out the Glowinthedark remix to give you 3 other unofficial remixes. Both the two tracks give off some big room electro vibes that just scream rave! All those remixes are good in all, but one really stuck out, Dillon Francis. I was really intrigued as to what this song would sound like, and shizaam was I pleasantly surprised. Dillon Francis chose to go on more of a dubstep/electro route and it sounds so good. It is a perfect way to be ending the year, thank you Mr. Francis.

Mat Zo & Arty – Mozart [Release]

This track might look familiar if you checked out the new Above & Beyond album, Anjunabeats Vol. 9. Well the official single has been released and like always it’s better to have the studio version than from a mix. Also if you haven’t heard this song before, it’s a song you should definitely lend an ear to. The studio version has a very slow build, but once it gets about halfway though you start to hear what makes this such a great track. The combination of the synthesized vocals, piano, and melody make this song so great. Also if you aren’t a fan a Mat Zo on Facebook yet, like him so he’ll release his song “Loop” for free. He has about 37k fans now and he’s asking for 70k, sooooooo as ridiculous as it sounds please go support him so we can get this track.

Ronald Jenkees [Update + Previews]

I just wanted to give an update on an artist known as Ronald Jenkees. When I first heard his music, I was completely lost for words. It was something new and fresh that I couldn’t believe a single person could create. There are people in this world who have talent that they work for, then there are people like Ronald Jenkees who are naturally gifted and who work hard to maintain that talent. Each song of his brings out something different from the last and incorporates an original melody with new sounds. RJ’s best talent is his gift for melody, he’s just one of those people that gets music.

His first CD was released in 2007 and I like to believe it is where he was trying to find his own musical style. The release of Disorganized Fun in 2009, however, put him on the map as a standout artist. I can’t name a single song on that album that is bad; he also has videos of him performing them on youtube. The most amazing video I saw of his was him creating a melody with a phone piano, yep, a phone with a miniature piano on it. After this release he was asked by STS9 to make a remix of their song “Beyond Right Now,” and did an unbelievable job with it. It is just a matter of time before he releases a new CD, which has no release date as of yet. His Soundcloud is updated every now and then with samples of his songs for the new album and they will show you what direction he is heading in. You can see that he’s noticed the Dubstep scene, but has put his own spin on it. I’ve compiled some of the previews below as some of my favorite songs of his, so check them out as well as his website and if you like all of this you can buy his CD here.

Michael Woods – Full Access/Let The Games Begin [Previews] + Essential Mix

Michael Woods is a legend amongst us all. He owns a successful label, Diffused, he has played at every big club or festival in the world, and he has had countless of big hits over the past couple years. Known for his old school house/progressive house style, but can put out banger after banger. Michael Woods’ productions always seem to have a constant epic build as the song gets better every second. These two songs are no exceptions as they seem to build and build all the way to my heart. First up is “Full Access” following his huge release of “No Access” last year on his label. It is quite similar in it’s level of quality, but less dark and more upbeat. The second tune is “Let The Games Begin“, which is much darker with it’s bassy electro synths. The same as the last though as it builds and builds adding new parts that make you want to hear more and more. Also to cap it all off last night Michael Woods put together his debut Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 and I have it up for you guys so enjoy. Also go down to the BBC Radio 1 website here to vote for your favorite Essential Mix of the year. I voted for Above & Beyond, what about you?

Avicii – Levels (Cazzette NYC Mode Mix)

This has been floating around for some time now and with the Skrillex remix coming out today it only seems fitting to make a post for this amazing tune. For those of you who don’t know Cazzette, it is a young Swedish duo consisting of Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer. They were discovered by the very talented Avicii and are apart of his small label Le7els. These Swedes really know how to produce and turn any song into a banger. Their style always impresses me and they did a great job remixing this song, and it does a good job standing out above all those other remixes and the stellar Skrillex remix.

Avicii – Levels (Skrillex Remix)

Just in time for the weekend to be here, Skrillex’s remix of Levels has been leaked. I know if you saw the preview that we posted last week then you were anxiously waiting for this release. As much as I would love Skrillex to make an awesome remix of Levels, I don’t think that this is one of his bests. Its hard enough to make a remix of an already perfect song, let alone a dubstep version of it. But you can’t deny that you wouldn’t go crazy for this song if you heard it live with speakers blaring, give it a listen below:
