Progressive Overload [Progressive/Trance]

I have a bunch of chunes for today. Ranging from electro trance, to classic trance, pure progressive house, and all in between. I mixed them up for you, so for you to know which ones are which you’ll have to listen to each and every one. Sorry I’m not sorry.

Feed Me’s Escape From Electric Mountain [EP Release]

This came as a surprise to me as I didn’t know Feed Me was releasing a new EP so soon. We’ve previously posted three of the six songs below, but don’t let that stop you from catching the full studio versions. If you’ve heard songs like “Whiskers” and “Trapdoor” then you know that Feed Me can pack some power into his songs. But with tracks like “Relocation” you get to see a completely different style of his, with atmospheric melodies and a surprise “Blood Red” revisit towards the end. I love seeing both of these styles on the same album. Its one thing if you can make an EP filled with tons of bass and craziness, but its pure talent when you can balance that with softer tracks, while still making it flow well.

Nicky Romero – Generation 303 [Release]

If Nicky Romero isn’t a household name by now, he will be by the end of this year. He has the backing by the world famous David Guetta. He is considered one of the fastest rising producers in the industry. With so many huge remixes, release like “Toulouse“, and 2 upcoming releases with the likes of David Guetta and Avicii, there’s no question that Nicky deserves the credit he has been given. We previewed this awhile back and now he has finally released his new track “Generation 303“. Originally thought to be a remix of Chemical BothersBlock Rockin’ Beats“, however it is revealed as a Nicky Romero original. Filled with bass filled acid synths this song is sure to be played for those high energy moments.

We’ve been trying to figure out a way to see what content yall are most interested in, and we think we may have found a solution. Below are the top ten downloads you guys have chosen. As we go on, we’ll find a better way to display this information, but for now this is the best we can do. A couple things we’re interested in developing right now is a way for you to create your own playlists on the site, so that you don’t have to move from page to page when playing songs. We’re also interested in displaying a constantly updated version of this top ten list. These won’t be available for a little while, but we hope to get them to you soon. In regards to the songs, C2C completely took the cake this month with their newest EP. If you haven’t grabbed “Down the Road” or “Arcades” yet, then you are missing out on some great music.

Avicii – ID (Let’s Get It On)

Don’t have much for you guys today, but I thought I would share an Avicii tune that he has been playing throughout his sets during his tour. It has that typical Avicii sound that we have grown accustomed too, but he also used the vocals from Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.” Check it out below:

Make It Drop – Starfuckers [Remixes]

Australian group Starfucker‘s track “Make It Drop” is out on House of Fun records, and features remixes from the likes of Angger Dimas, Redial & Night Dimension. The original itself is a really awesome track, the horns in it are reminiscent of Tommy Trash‘s “The End,” it would seem that sound can only be captured by the Aussies. I first heard this track a while ago, but hadn’t been able to get my hands on the remixes until now. The remixes are all top notch, check them out.
