Need to keep your friday night going? Here’s an older track from the Australian producer Burgs, with a techno/dutch-house bassline and electro house framework. Give it a listen below and be sure to support the artist through Beatport:
Today I have decided to go away from the norm of overloading you with songs from Ultra. Basically if you follow music like me then you are overloaded with new tunes to listen to, so much for me that songs of different genre start to sound the same. I have four amazing songs ranging from techno to house and all the in between. These songs are perfect for spring break, so if you haven’t ventured off anywhere yet, make sure you bring these tunes to become the beach god of house music. The only familiar name to me is Erick Morillo, but don’t let that fool you. ZHU remixes a TJR song that he made mocking house music by using his voice and no production involved. ZHU creates a TJR-esque track out of nothing, plus it’s FREE. The last song that I have been listening to for the past couple weeks is by, The Peacemaker Project. This song is a deep progressive house gem. Off Anjunadeep, it is one of the best house songs I have heard in awhile.

This EP is some fresh ish for those heavy dubstep and electro fans who also like to dabble in some dutch house and moombahton. GTA, whom I grew very found of due to Mixmash during 2012, is making some innovative stuff with this grime, dutch, electro house, techno combination. The first song that is titled by the EP, “Ai Novinha”, is a dutch house banger that encompasses plenty of techno influences that has one the most unexpected face melting drops I’ve heard, and enjoyed, in a very long time. The last song on the EP, “Bath Salts”, is another genre bending song. Again with dubstep, dutch house, and techno, there is also some influences from moombahton with the drums and kicks.

Justice‘s “Helix” has received a huge remix treatment from Gesaffelstein, who consistently puts out unique material. In typical fashion, the rework is an edgy electro track, called a ‘remix’ even though not much of the original track is incorporated besides the vocal sample. This track is featured on Justice’s new Helix EP, out yesterday on Ed Banger Records. The EP includes Domenico Torti’s wild new ‘headspin’ remix of “Helix” as well as older tracks off Audio, Video, Disco like “Ohio,” “Helix” and the epic hidden track “Presence.” Sample and purchase the outstanding Helix EP in it’s entirety below.

Today is a glorious day filled with presents, joy, and I have finally received a new computer. After a couple months of hiatus, I have rejoined my Hive companions to give you guys some of the newest music. Now since I’m playing catch-up, I present an EP by one of my favorite up-and-coming trance producers, KhoMha. He is a refreshing artist to the trance scene adding a lot of diversity and presenting his signature tech-trance style to the masses with much success so far. Markus Schulz is somewhat credited for finding this young talent and bringing him to the spotlight to flourish.
The Vapor EP is one that perfectly encompasses KhoMha and his style. This is a great compilation of trance, progressive, and techno, which I can assume is prog-tech-trance? Only kidding, but this is a very enjoyable listen if anyone is interested in this type of music.
