Ultra Girls

Today I have decided to go away from the norm of overloading you with songs from Ultra. Basically if you follow music like me then you are overloaded with new tunes to listen to, so much for me that songs of different genre start to sound the same. I have four amazing songs ranging from techno to house and all the in between. These songs are perfect for spring break, so if you haven’t ventured off anywhere yet, make sure you bring these tunes to become the beach god of house music. The only familiar name to me is Erick Morillo, but don’t let that fool you. ZHU remixes a TJR song that he made mocking house music by using his voice and no production involved. ZHU creates a TJR-esque track out of nothing, plus it’s FREE. The last song that I have been listening to for the past couple weeks is by, The Peacemaker Project. This song is a deep progressive house gem. Off Anjunadeep, it is one of the best house songs I have heard in awhile.

Booka Shade – Tomorrow Belongs to Us (Shameboy Remix)

Author:

Booka_Honeyslave_Remixes

Booka Shade came out with the Honeyslave EP back in August and followed it with a remixes pack shortly after. I first heard Shameboy’s remix of “Tomorrow Belongs to Us” from Dim Mak’s Miami Beach Party Mix and I’ve been waking up to it ever since. So if you’re in need of some electronic medicine for those hangovers during Miami Music Week, give the track below a listen. Purchase from Beatport below:

Mark Knight & Sander van Doorn ft. Underworld – Ten

Author:

Sander_Ten

When you hear the names Mark Knight and Sander van Doorn, their names speak for themselves. Both are innovative leaders in their respective genres and, along with the vocals of Underworld, have released their monumental release “Ten”. Named after the ten year anniversary of Mark Knight’s Toolroom Records, this song celebrates and commemorates all the hard work and effort that has been put into the label over the years. The smooth fusion of Knight’s techno and van Doorn’s trance roots makes this a dream collaboration and will make you move your body till the wee hours of the morning.

Justin Martin & Eats Everything – Feather Fight EP

Author:

Tech house heavyweights Justin Martin and Eats Everything have dropped their anxiously-awaited “Feather Fight” EP today on Hypercolour. There was little doubt that it was going to be great after hearing Eats’ incredible remix of JM’s “Ruff Stuff”. It’s everything we’ve come to expect from the Dirtybird label boys, with exotic yet intriguing sounds and supreme danceability. “Feather Fight” starts with a big build up leading into fat synths, a chopped up female vocal sample with block dropping rhythm and quick hard kicks. “Harpy” is the real treat for me, it has a taste of the wobble Justin used in “Ghettos and Gardens” alongside persistent and penetrating low bass.. they even bring in the cowbell. Sample this EP below and check out the funny yet impressive video, then support these two great artists and pick the EP up on Beatport
