Adam K is really throwing us some material very different from his traditional style, but I really like it and am impressed with his ability to cross genres so flawlessly. His remix is a great combination of progressive and electro with a bit of disco from the original. Be sure to check out what other goodness Adam K has in store for 2012 like “EMP“. The other remix is actually my favorite, not to take any credit away from Adam K, but Enton Mushi creates an absolutely magical progressive track. It makes me reminisce of the old Deadmau5 and Adam K, but this track is an absolute gem and a MUST download.

Although not every song has pure progressive elements they are on the lighter side. As for my second post it will primarily dabble with the harder classic style of trance. How many more people can you get to put their ideas into a song. Well, apparently it takes five. I have three official remixes of David Guetta’s second version of his song “Wild Ones“. All the remixes are true progressive house tracks, but all the artists put their own twist on it. I personally don’t have a favorite, but I do like each and every song so do enjoy and feel free to express your opinion in the box below.
A little late for this remix package, but better late than never. Originally there was one other remix by Stafford Brothers, but it sounded too much like the original so I just left it out. If you’re interested in hearing a preview the beatport link will be below. The first remix is by Sidney Samson, and I was happy to hear some of his dutch house making an appearance. Lastly is my favorite remix and it’s also by an original producer, but this time it’s Roger Sanchez. Sanchez created a huge big room remix that even includes fans screaming in the background as if it were being played at a huge event.
We’ve been hearing previews and snippets of Hardwell & Dannic’s “Kontiki” for months, and it’s finally released on Revealed Recordings. Great progressive track, it just doesn’t get any better, this track is an anthem you will surely be hearing at festivals this summer. Dyro’s remix was a nice surprise, he adds a heavier electro feel and a new bridge before the drop that give it a distinct sound. The “Kontiki” tracks are streaming only, but as a consolation I’m including downloads for Dyro & Jacob van Hage’s massive new progressive tune “EMP” and the hit track from Dannic entitled “Doster.” Enjoy.
