Introducing the Lunde Bros

These Lunde Bros brothers are a dj duo from Stockhold Sweden and are actual brothers.. They have been lighting it up lately, getting the support of big names like David Guetta, Afrojack, Pete Tong, Erick Morillo, Laidback Luke, John Dahlbäck, Dada Life, Swanky Tunes, Chuckie and Thomas Gold. I’m sure a lot of their tunes made appearances at UMF last weekend. They have supreme production skill, most of their tracks are originals, and they are all all high energy and have influences ranging all types of house. I’ve got a bunch of great Lunde Bros originals and one great remix, so check em all out.

Michael Woods – Warrior (Original Mix)

In honor of Michael Wood’s early trance moniker, Warrior, he presents the self titled track, “Warrior“. I honestly don’t love this track, but that’s not saying it’s a bad track. It isn’t very high energy, but the drop is quite interesting. It reminds me a lot of his recent remix of “Shinjuku“, which personally I’m a huge fan of. The track could be classified as progressive trance, but he incorporates some unique electro synths with a funky bassline. Beatport.

I could split this into three or four posts easily, but lets forget about the past and deal with the now. I have a lot of good trance tunes and hopefully I will get them all out eventually, so for now enjoy some of the newest trance meant for Ultra Music Festival. KhoMha – Mind Gamer / The Sky Is Inside You [EP]

Markus Schulz’s little wonderboy seems to be trying to make this a big year. I only discovered KhoMha a couple months ago with his track “Artemis” and that was all I needed. He is a young producer out of Columbia. It is crazy that the emerging area for electro and trance at the moment seems to be South America. My favorite thing that has come out of that area has to be the electro, trance, and house genre bending. KhoMha isn’t necessarily a heavy hitting electro trance producer, but more of combination between trance and house, which some like to call “trouse”, but that I will not. Alright back to the music. So these songs are nuts as “Mind Gamers” has an erie building synth into a straight circus rave that I can’t describe in words. The other tune, “The Sky Is Inside You”, is a little bit more progressive, but it is a good example of what “trouse” might sound like. Beatport.

Angger Dimas ft. Polina – Release Me (Incl. Remixes)

I love finding unexpected greatness. Angger Dimas, one of my favorite producers of all time releases a huge remix EP of his track “Release Me”. I’m gonna get to the point. Although I would usually favor Angger Dimas and Marlo, my favorite remixes are by Vandalism and then Girl Audio. The first two I mentioned are much more progressive and are kinda bland in my opinion, other than Polina’s great vocals of course. The Vandalism remix starts off progressive like the original and delves into a dirty electro beat that any electro house fan will like. Lastly is my favorite of the remixes, Girl Audio. Whoever this/they is/are made an amazing remix. The remix uses the vocals amazingly and it has a funky dutch house beat initially, then it drops into some dirty glitch breaks.
