Electro In The Air

Please bare with me cause this post is going to cover a wide spectrum of general electronic music. This first one I’ve been holding onto for a while and it was one of my favorite songs for some time. It’s got that dutchy atmosphere that everyone likes and is a remix by Skeet Skeet, who did my favorite remix of “Pumped Up Kicks.”

“Gone Gone Gone” could definitely be classified as a jam band, but they incorporate so many electronic elements into their songs that I thought I would leave this one with you guys as well. It was one of the few electronic songs I listened to before I was absorbed into this genre.

This is the funkiest of the bunch and I wish it were longer. Its just over two minutes and could have a lot more done with it, so if there are any Producers out there, try this song out.

I don’t think that “Glock” will be for everybody. Its really different, but if it wasn’t for its uniqueness and Moombahton vibes I wouldn’t give it a try. I’m still not completely convinced that I like it.

This is the last one and I thought I would end with some Trash Electro. I’ve become a fan of this sub genre over the past couple months and its basically a harder style of electronic music. Keplar starts out slow, but then builds up into a monster. I feel like every Trash Electro song has that choir sound in it.

It’s been ages since I personally made a dubstep post, trust me though it was worth it. I’ve accumulated some very good songs in the meantime. Granted that these songs were found in the past week, it shouldn’t take away from their quality.

:DFace & Sazon Booya – Let It Be

I had this post all written up yesterday, but I got busy with an interview and some exams so I never had time to upload the track and finish up the post. However, what’s important is that it’s here now, and it’s moombahton greatness.

This track from : Dface and Sazon Booya is so prime that I actually bought it off iTunes immediately after hearing the preview, something that is somewhat rare for me (I stick to Beatport.) : Dface is on the vocals for this track, which is pretty awesome because he sounds damn good and is a talented producer to boot. The drop is unique, it has a kickin drum beat and a really nice melody paired with perfectly heavy bass and tech synths. The second drop has a more dutch sound to it that is tight. This track and these artists are about to blow up, without a doubt.

Cyberpunkers – Epic EP

A familiar name in the electro house scene, Cyberpunkers. The Italian duo has been tearing up the electro/indie/punk scene for years now. In Italy these guys are among legends when they play at their home country’s clubs. They have made a huge name for themselves globally as well with huge support from their similar counter part Designer Drugs. One of my favorite songs that got me into electro music would be “Fly By Night” Cyberpunkers remix. The original by Designer drugs is also good. Back to the EP, the songs chosen for this EP are all genre bending. They flirt with electro house, moombahton, and grunge, which is like metal punk electro. I am always glad to throw out something different so do enjoy. My favorite track would be “Dungeon“. If you only have time for one song, I would listen to that.

Moombahton Massive

We’re back with another Moombahton Massive, with even more sexy moombah tunes for you today. All these tracks are seriously hot and from some of the biggest players in the game. What a group, Gooffee, Killabits, Bro Safari, LeDoom, : Dface, D!RTY AUD!O and Too Fresh. I’m most excited about Aussie newcomers Too Fresh, not to be confused with the North Carolina DJ duo Two Fresh. Too Fresh’s shit is seriously good, produced very impressively. Their track “Too Funky” might be one of my favorite moombahton tracks of all time, definitely don’t miss it or their other track “Moombacid.” The Killabits remix goes hard as hell, as do both of the Gooffee tracks. I really like how Gooffee is incorporating electro sounds into moombahton. D!RTY AUD!O has really been impressing me lately, and : Dface brings the grinding heat as usual. Lastly, although it’s a preview I had to post the Bro Safari & LeDoom track.

[EP] Nick Thayer – Like Boom [OWSLA]

Glitch hop, dubstep, breaks, drum & bass, electro house, moombahton, I mean honestly you name it this EP’s got it. Like Boom is the second release by OWSLA this year and it is by a newbie aussie, Nick Thayer. This is awesome to see OWSLA supporting producers even if their music isn’t widespread globally. If you’re like me and only discovered Nick Thayer a couple months ago, then you realize how awesome it is see these artist brought into the spotlight for their pure musical talents. This is another groundbreaking EP on the behalf of OWSLA.
