Wick-It [Artist]

Wick-It is one of those artists who is original, not only in the sounds that he creates, but in the songs that he remixes. We posted two remixes of his a couple of weeks ago, and I am still amazed at the talent this artist brings to the table. I recently found his remix of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and I had to do an artist post on him. Who knew that Pink Floyd could ever be remixed?

Its nice to find DJ’s/Producers coming from places other than England and California, well Wick-It comes from Nashville, TN, an area known for its history of country and rock music. And I know it is about to catch the wave of Electronic music, which is currently sweeping through the US. Wick-It is not only talented in mashing up multiple songs, but putting his spin on them and creating something completely new. He is also gifted in bringing the energy up in his songs, which I’m sure makes him great to see live. The best I can do is say that he brings that certain funky swing that Pretty Lights is able to accomplish, while creating an amazing up-beat party atmosphere like Skrillex, but at the same time is able to get crazy basslines like Datsik. I tried to give ya’ll a variation of the songs he has released so you can see how versatile he is, you can check them all out below:

The M Machine Downloads

I made a post a couple of days ago about the two newest songs released by The M Machine, but didn’t want to give out the downloads until they were released. I can’t tell you how incredible both these songs are, so I’m just going to cut right too it:

Electro In The Air

I made a post last week about Rabbit Killer, but this is another guy that he has been working with quite a lot recently. I’ve started to notice that alot of Rabbit Killer’s stuff sounds like Mord Fustang, and his combination with Cool Project adds even more to Fustang’s style:

I’ve been trying to find this song for so long, ever since I heard the Afrojack’s set at Ultra last year online (it was the first song he played and an amazing opener). I know why I was never able to find it, because it’s by David Guetta; however, I do have to give the guy some credibility because this song is phenomenal and has one of the most amazing builds up. My favorite is the wuhhh at 2:51, give it a listen below:

This was the hardest song to find a download for, I looked everywhere; I’m happy that I finally got it. I love the way they chopped the vocals up for this and also the piano progressions are pretty in tune with the electro synths:

Tetra has a pretty similar vibe to the beginning of the previous song, but sounds more classical. SebastiAn might sound familiar because Skrillex just remixed their “Love In Motion” song. I don’t know much about these guys but I’m going to search around for some more of there stuff because this song is perfectly put together:

“Where You Should Be” is a more chill song by Jack Beats, but still has enough random sounds to keep you entertained. It also builds up pretty nicely throughout the entirety of it, also check out the video below to see why you need to see Jack Beats live:

Far Too Loud [Artist]

I just found out about this artist and man am I having an awesome time finding out all of his tracks. Far Too Loud been around for quite some time, so they have a ton of tracks out on the interwebs; I haven’t been able to listen to them all, but from what I’ve gathered, Far Too Loud’s main focus is to go as hard as possible. They have hints of Trash Electro and Dubstep in every song that I’ve listened to so far. If your trying to bring the energy up for any party I suggest you put one of these songs on:

Madeon – Icarus [Preview]

The young French star has been out of the loop since his last creation, “Pop Culture,” received so many positive reviews. He’s been busy touring and working on some new hits; well we have a new preview for all you guys today and I love where Madeon is taking his style. At such a young age he has already created his own style, check out the preview for Madeon’s new song Icarus below as well as an awesome live video of Madeon:

Rabbit Killer & Farleon

I have a special treat for you guys today, another one of those young kids from eastern Europe, who is an unbelievable producer, except there are two of them. Their names are Rabbit Killer and Farleon, both from Kazakhstan. I hate it (but love it at the same time) when you find a new artist and all you want to do is listen to the next song because every single one you’ve listened to so far is phenomenal. Rabbit Killer’s genre is a hard hitting Electro (known as Dirty House in Europe), while Farleon still plays with the Dirty House, he adds some Dubstep into it and has a better ear for vocals than his counterpart. I still can’t believe the amount of young kids that are coming into the electronic game. Take a listen to some of their songs below and see what you think:
