Need to keep your friday night going? Here’s an older track from the Australian producer Burgs, with a techno/dutch-house bassline and electro house framework. Give it a listen below and be sure to support the artist through Beatport:
Following his moombahton remix of Diplo’s “Set It Off” is this electro house remix to Singularity’s “The Tide.” Catchy vocals, explosive synths, and his versatility to jump around genres makes me happy to see TheFatRat back releasing tracks after his short break. He’s also been busy helping other artists out, such as mastering Coyote Kisses’ new EP, so expect more tracks to follow in the coming months.
Germany’s Anton Zaslavski, also known as Zedd, has got quite a few tricks up his sleeve. That’s what this suggests in his new remix to Empire of The Sun’s single “Alive.” We see an amazing mixture of his old and new style in combination throughout its entirety, beginning with some heavy electro to kick it off, followed by a more up-to-date style with his electro house touch to continue. The full version drops May 21st, so be sure to grab a copy of one of Zedd’s more energetic remixes to date thus far.
Update: Added the full track that was uploaded to youtube today (May 13th) instead of the preview.
After months of waiting for their VIP version of “Internet Friends” to be released, Knife Party is back with the Haunted House EP, sporting another three original tracks on top of the VIP mix. They still maintain the intensity in every one of these tracks, but attempt to distance themselves from what people refer to them as: Dubstep artists. The opening track, “Power Glove,” has had a preview floating around since Knife Party uploaded it to their Soundcloud and is the most reminiscent of their massiveness. In “LRAD” they test out a deep jungle beat, which had people up in arms about this stylistic change. There is the VIP version of “Internet Friends,” which needs no introduction. And finally the last track to close, “EDM Death Machine,” has got to be my favorite track off of the EP since it has a nice blend of the old and new. The official release of the Haunted House EP is May 5th, nevertheless, we have full streams for each track below. We’ll update the post with the purchase links once they come out.
I’d like to introduce you all to Sharkoffs, an fast-rising electro producer and friend of The Hive. A Miami, Florida native, Sharkoffs makes devastating complextro tracks that will knock you off your feet. Sharkoffs stays anonymous, but has been DJ’ing since he was 15, drawing inspiration from artists like Wolfgang Gartner, Deadmau5 and Crookers, among others. He recently made his Beatport debut with “KomaKiller” and hasn’t slowed down one bit, following it up with “All Your Bass” and the brand new “Shark Attack.” Serious heat is all he produces, so be on the lookout for our boy in the future. Check out the tracks, the (insane) music video and the social links below, then head to Beatport to support Sharkoffs!
There’s nothing better than starting the week with the release of Fedde Le Grand’s single “Rockin’ N’ Rollin’.” This song has the potential to get rid of that case of the Mondays in which we all dread. It’s packed with electro breaks and a somewhat repetitive, yet very powerful and addicting drop. In addition, Fedde uses a signature vocoder voice spread throughout the track which is something that only a few artists can successfully pull off. It’s only a matter of time before “Rockin’ N’ Rollin’” makes it to Beatport’s top 10, but until then, grab a copy and throw on repeat!
