Autoerotique – Bring That Beat Back (Tiesto Edit)

Autoerotique are small fish in the biggest of oceans, yet they seem to attract the support and attention of some of the biggest producers. They are favorites of Steve Aoki who also happens to own the label that they are currently with. Not only do they garnish support vocally, but Tiesto has been supporting their tracks for a long time now. One of his favorite tracks last summer was Autoerotique’s remix of his own “Work Hard, Play Hard”. He has also played “Freak” and “Turn Up The Volume”, which is more than enough to show they deserve more support. Today we have another great tune, but this time their is a role reversal in the producer and remixer. As you expect the song has a definite Autoerotique feel to it with some amazing Tiesto touch, and then it happens, a crazy breakdown into one wild drop that goes absolutely ham.

OWSLA Presents Free Treats Vol. 2

Caution: Large post with hot tracks. Can burn.
The OWSLA crew is deep as hell and steady killing it right now. They just dropped this free tape full of treats and goodies for us to enjoy, and damn, they must be in a generous mood because there are some unbelievable tracks. OWSLA brings some of the hottest Moombah, Dubstep, and Electro tracks for you to enjoy. It seems to me like a lot of the focus is on OWSLA’s newer artists. Every track on this release is amazing, set aside the amazing dubstep and moombahton, theres still TOO many good electro house tracks. I’ve been waiting for Style of Eye‘s track “Devastate,” and it might be my favorite track on the release. Another top contender is J. Rabbit‘s “A Shot of Bruschotti”. Flinch, Child In Disguise & Ghastly! tracks go hard too. Munchi & Nick Thayer kill it in the moombahton category, and it’s great to hear awesome new Too Fresh tracks as well.
Within their individual categories, I tried to relatively rank them top to bottom by how much I liked them. You’ll be listening to this one all week.

Dutch Legends | Afrojack | Laidback Luke | Sidney Samson |

Ok so I’m still playing catch up, but here are three huge releases. One anticipated, one completely unexpected, and finally one completely different from their typical style. First I have up is Laidback Luke’s fire progressive dutch track “Speak Up”. The instrumental has been out for almost a year now, and the vocals definitely kick it up a notch. I love that dutchiness, which is why I was excited to hear that Afrojack released a new track and sure enough it’s dirty dutch house. I loved Afrojack’s newest album Lost & Found 2 because it stayed true to his dirty dutch side. He scared us a bit with those rumors of him with Paris Hilton and I know we were all tired off that Pitbull and Ne-Yo crap. His new release “Fatility” isn’t amazing, but it’s still good enough for me. Lastly, we have Sidney Samson’s new track, which is nothing like his normal dutch electro sound. His new track “Something In The Air” is pure progressive house and is in the realm of tracks by Alesso and Avicii. Enjoy these are big tunes all in one post.

Artist Spotlight: TJR

It seems that not too long ago that every new producer was the next big thing since Jesus. Now we have started to cool our jets as there are so many dank producers right now it doesn’t even matter as we see up and downs in their careers every couple of hours (not literally). Today I am presenting TJR, if you don’t know who he is check out Beatport since his is currently #1 overall for all genres for his smash hit “Funky Vodka”. I love his style of funky house also with elements of tech house, techno, and electro. TJR currently only has a little over 5,000 followers on Facebook, yet he has already accomplished so much. This the epitome of a star born overnight. What’s weird is that not many saw this happening so quick, and I mean not many which should be evident by his follower count. I’m not say he wouldn’t be big, just he wouldn’t be big this quick, which I must say he definitely deserves. I LOVE FUNKY HOuSE MUSIC!

We’ll be seeing big things from TJR in the near future that is a guarantee.

Facebook bio:

TJR (real name TJ Rozdilsky) has built a formidable catalogue of remixes and original tracks since broadening out from his acid house and techno roots in 2008. He has consistently been cooking up big room bangers that have received support from Tiesto, Fatboy Slim, Chuckie, Benny Benassi, Dada Life, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, Umek and many more. Originally from the little state of Connecticut, a move to Los Angeles in 2009 saw him embrace the benefits of America’s hot spot for electronic dance music.

Aylen – Wayne Brady (Original Mix)

We love Aylen at The Hive and we hope we’ve convinced you to feel the same. Today he released a brand new moombahton track that I’ve had on constant replay since I downloaded it. Unfortunately, his Soundcloud is going to be terminated this week, so he’s giving it away for free by liking his page on Facebook. I’ve gotta give him props for creating such a heavy track, so go to his page below, like him, and grab the song for free.

Tiesto – Chasing Summers (Original Mix)

A lot of one song posts, but thats probably because there are so many great songs to post the past few days. Tiesto adds to our list of chunes with “Chasing Summers”, an epic song with a melody that constantly builds and builds. It starts with all the right progressive vibes, but don’t be fooled as it drops into a funky ass bass line. That little tock is what gets me, but I’m lovin’ all the vibes from this song. Tiesto doing things right.
