Adam K is really throwing us some material very different from his traditional style, but I really like it and am impressed with his ability to cross genres so flawlessly. His remix is a great combination of progressive and electro with a bit of disco from the original. Be sure to check out what other goodness Adam K has in store for 2012 like “EMP“. The other remix is actually my favorite, not to take any credit away from Adam K, but Enton Mushi creates an absolutely magical progressive track. It makes me reminisce of the old Deadmau5 and Adam K, but this track is an absolute gem and a MUST download.

Dutch House | Sandro Silva | Sidney Samson | Quintino | JayyFresh

Dutch house is some of my favorite live music just for it’s pure high energy. Today I have three brand new release that are by three big dutch DJ’s/Producers plus some by a recent discovery of mine JayyFresh. The three core group is Sidney Samson, Quintino, and Sandro Silva. Sandro Silva has been known to do a lot of work with legend Chuckie and Quintino, Quintino has done work with Afrojack and Apster, and lastly is the legend himself Sidney Samson. Mr. Samson comes at us with a huge dutch bomb so don’t pass it up.

Dada Life – Rolling Stones T-Shirt (Incl. Chuckie & Cazzette Remixes)

We were first blessed by the preview of Cazzette’s typical long titled remix that created a huge hype for this release. I was first thinking this would only be released as the remix, but as time went on we were elated to hear that their would be an original. This wasn’t the only news as it was announced that they would be released together with remixes and the other remixer is no other than Dutch legend, Chuckie. The original by Dada Life is a great example of their style. Great melodic builds and vocals that drops in to their signature fat grease sausage bass. Cazzette, as most of us already knew, absolutely killed it with this remix. Amazing progressive build into one of the most high energy drops so far this year. Reminds me of a progressive melodic “Slam The Door“. The biggest surprise here is the Chuckie remix. Starting with nothing too special, considering it is Chuckie, then includes some funky dutch about halfway through. Not my favorite by Chuckie, but this is definitely a banger.

The Partysquad – The Badman Rave EP

This EP is all over the place. It has influences from moombahton, hardstyle, house, dutch, electro, and reggae. The main artist of the EP is Dutch legends The Partysquad, and it features Punish, Alvaro, and Baskerville. My favorite track on the EP is “Lighterman“, probably for its originality and craziness. It starts off as a reggae jam and it seamlessly transitions into a dirty dutch house beat. The best part is when it drops into little hardstyle and then slowed back down into some smooth smooth reggae. My second favorite track would be “Badman“. I first took a liking to it as I saw Alvaro was the collab artist, but I really enjoyed some the dutch house beat. “Go Down Low” & “Pullup 2012” are good too. This is an interesting EP and I really like the originality. What do you think?
