Crystal Fighters – Plage (Felix Cartal Remix)

I’m obsessed with this track, it’s been on repeat all day. Felix Cartal has recently come out with this remix of the remarkably catchy track from the Crystal Fighters, “Plage.” So stuck in my head right now, check it out.

Some tracks are bound to slip through the cracks, but I’m shocked that we haven’t posted Felix Cartal’s track “Black to White” yet, I’m also including it because it’s a really great original track from him. Enjoy.

Wolfgang Gartner – Push and Rise (PrototypeRaptor Bootleg Remix)

I’ve been giving this track tons of rotations lately. I don’t know too much about PrototypeRaptor, but I do know he has recently come out with an incredible electro remix of Wolfgang Gartner’s classic track “Push & Rise.” I also just came across another remix of his, of a newer Wolfgang Gartner track, “The American Epic,” which is quite epic, as you might have guessed. As an added bonus, I’m also throwing in a crazy Pendulum bootleg he made as well. Enjoy.

Artist Spotlight: Jacques Lu Cont

Jacques Lu Cont, aka Thin White Duke aka Stuart Price, is a British dj that you really ought to be acquainted with. He’s won three Grammys for his productions, so I don’t see why everyone is freaking out about Skrillex winning some. I first heard Jacques Lu Cont’s newest club killer “Church” from our friends over at Loose Lips. It’s an appropriately titled track that gets me moving every time I hear it with the perfect combination of funk, electro and church. I just came across his unbelievable rework of Miike Snow’s “Paddling Out,” so don’t miss that one. I’ve also got two more remixes from Lu Cont, one is his new remix of Katy Perry’s “Part Of Me,” the other is his epic electro remix of The Killer’s “Mr. Brightside,” which is now five or six years old, but it still bangs.

Led Zeppelin – No Quarter (ChrisB Remix)

I’m in love with this track. It’s a truly awesome glitchy remix of Led Zeppelin’s “No Quarter” that is done incredibly well. Apparently, ChrisB’s dad asked him to make a classic rock remix and this is what he ended up producing. It starts off true to the original, which is a badass track itself, but then flawlessly transitions into a sweet glitchy drop with heavy bass that you don’t see coming. Do yourself a favor and do not miss this tune.
